Nominated for the 3rd time in 2007 for the Nobel Peace Prize, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is the founder of one of the largest humanitarian NGOs on the world in terms of volunteers : the International Art of Living Foundation.

Through this organization, he has been able to deploy in more than 25 years an impressive number of mutual assistance programs, mediation, humanitarian development which affected a total of more than 20 million people, this in over 140 countries around the world

This humanitarian work was celebrated in Bangalore (India) by a collection of 2.5 million people in February 2006 and recognized by eminent personalities, including heads of state, ministers and senior religious leaders etc.
